Waihe‘e Falls

Waihe‘e Falls is a hiking “trail” that’s located up the Board of Water supply road in Kāne‘ohe. The hike takes about 45 minutes to get to the waterfall and goes mostly uphill on a dirt road (which can get muddy in the rain, so be cautious). There is beautiful scenery, especially halfway to the waterfall where hikers can find a “pool” where water flows down and sits in an icy bath. I went with my friends last week and had such a great time! Some of the uphill hike can become difficult because of steep altitudes, but it’s an overall easy-ish hike for beginners.
