There’s something magical about waking up lazily on a Sunday morning. With my fluffy white comforter wrapped around my face and strands of curly hair stuck in my mouth, I usually make my way out of my soft bed at around 10 am. Today was one of my typical lazy Sundays after a long Saturday filled with SAT classes and rehearsals, in which I wake up late and spend the day deciding whether to do homework or relax. In this case, my parents picked me up after church and we went to Mariposa for brunch and shopping at Ala Moana afterwards.
Whilst my parents and I waited for a table at the restaurant in Neiman Marcus, I had a look around at the Dylan’s Candy Bar section on the top floor. Dylan’s is a famous candy store based in New York, so it’s always nice to be able to pick up a few bits from the Neiman Marcus area. I was good today and only chose one candy bar and went with the S’mores Belgian Milk Chocolate Bar, which was amazing. The next little bit I picked up was the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser. After running out of my favorite Origins Make A Difference Rejuvenating Cleanser, I decided to have a bit of a change and bought this one from Sephora. I’d heard very good reviews about the FAB cleanser because it’s lightweight, suitable for sensitive skins, and can be applied a.m. or p.m! I’m really excited to try it out and share my thoughts with all of you. Last but not least is the product I was most ecstatic about: the Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturizer. I saw this in a YouTube video recently and was immediately interested in it. I haven’t tried anything from the Kate Somerville range but I’ve always heard great things about her skincare products so I wanted to try this out. I love that it doesn’t have SPF so it’s great for nighttime use, but it also isn’t thick or heavy, so it’s perfect for the daytime as well. I’ll be posting my full reviews on these products in the upcoming weeks!
