While a large portion of Hawaiʻi is stuck at home everyday, I’m still working in my office, so I get to dress up in my favorite clothes three times a week! Last month I shared this green flowy top paired with black and white pieces, and I’m back with another floral outfit (I know, florals for spring, how groundbreaking) that’s a little more summery (we’re pretending summery is an acceptable word to use as an adult). I spent a pretty penny (and several dollars) at LOFT toward the end of March, but I haven’t shared all the tops and dresses I bought yet! I love this bright blue dress because it’s almost obnoxiously fluorescent and combines pink, red, white, and yellow flowers, which felt as fresh as possible when dealing with floral patterns. The dress has an empire waist and a slightly lower v-cut back, but let’s get to the most important asset—pockets!! I know the joke is that women will always announce when a dress or skirt has pockets and no shit, of course we’re going to when even our denim can only fit a quarter in each slot. Any type of fit and flare garment is going to be one of my most loved because they’re always flattering! I styled the summery dress with my favorite ever baby pink Cole Haan mules (it would look equally as cute with my white ones) and an old Kate Spade scalloped purse. I think this outfit—maybe with pink ruffle heels and a clutch in the same shade—would look beautiful at a summer wedding (a: ew I know, we don’t approve of weddings here except for Laz’s and Jonathan‘s and b: like there are any summer weddings this year) or warm weather special event!
