The Quechee Inn

When my family and I travel, we usually stay at our favorite Fairmont hotel or an Embassy Suite. As we were booking reservations and living arrangements, Megan’s friend Josh’s mom suggested the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm. The inn is located in Quechee, Vermont and is about 15 minutes away from Dartmouth’s campus. It was originally home to Colonel Joseph Marsh- Vermont’s first lieutenant governor and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The inn is a beautiful size and overlooks both a forest and lake. Directly next to the inn is a large farmhouse that doubles as a special events location. The inn is known for its beautiful wedding setting and its lush foliage. It offers free hot breakfast every morning and lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. All of the workers are helpful and friendly and create a welcoming environment. We will definitely try and visit the inn again sometime!
