In high school I used to obsess over rompers when I discovered them at LOFT and they were all I’d wear for a period of time! I wasn’t as much into blogging about my outfits back then (although I loved clothes immensely) since This Is Noelle was a strictly makeup and beauty blog (I still love Lisa Eldridge), but I guarantee 80% of my daily outfits featured one piece looks. I loved how they’re the perfect spring and summer wardrobe addition and the ease with which I could style them. After a few years and several broken LOFT romper straps (here’s my most recent LOFT romper favorite I wore every week in 2019 and still love to this day!), I still love a perfect spring romper, but I tend to pick dresses and jeans over them. When I found this Velvet Torch romper on sale, I immediately tried it on. The piece features a red and green floral print, which we all know is a spring essential (insert Miranda Priestly florals for spring gif here) and the fabric is soft and cozy for any occasion. I wore this look to work as our office dress code is pretty casual (you’ll find many men walking around in t shirts and slippers to the dismay of our PD), but I “dressed it up” with my favorite green leather flats. I finished the look with my mom’s small Madewell shoulder bag I’m borrowing indefinitely and never returning! If I were to style this perfect spring romper for slightly cooler days, I would throw on my favorite denim jacket and white sneakers. Thankfully this piece is the best transitional item from spring to summer where I’ll wear it with brown strappy sandals or over a bikini!
