Zara top (pictured color unavailable, but neutral ones here), Levi’s jeans, Cole Haan shoes, Jailhouse Lawyers Speak bag
I’ve never loved summer months for anything other than a long, deserved break from the hellhole of academia as I don’t like hot weather or the seasonally appropriate clothing. Of course I’ve put together several cute outfits over the past few months (I need some new wardrobe additions though!) like this one featuring the most adorable checkered pink pants and this one with my favorite Mango dress. My most shopped-at store recently has been Zara with all its colorful tops, patterned dresses, and flowy pants with a punch of color and I’d love to add every piece in the store to my closet! Today’s look is one I’ve rotated through multiple times with cycles between different tops I find appropriate for these sweatier months. I love a good punch of color for any season and Zara seems to nail each new collection. I purchased this bright as hell cropped knit top from Zara, which I thought would meld easily with the other pieces in my closet despite the several different colors woven throughout. I’m not afraid of the pops of color in each row and I especially welcome anything with numerous shades of pink (can you tell from my past outfit posts that I love pink more than any other shade?). I paired the punch of color top with my favorite ever Levi’s jeans that hug my body perfectly and stretch enough to wear during a heftier dinner. Levi’s denim has impressed me with every purchase and I know I’ll add a few more pairs going into fall and winter when it’s more proper to wear them. I finished the outfit with my tried-and-true, always reliable pink Cole Haan mules and the Abolish Prison, No New Jails canvas tote I bought during the Jailhouse Lawyers Speak fundraiser!
