Over the years I’ve had my fair share of drugstore powder testings (mainly sticking with Maybelline Fit Me and Rimmel Stay Matte), so there’s no denying my love for the setter. I have extremely oily skin, which makes foundation slip off fairly common without a good powder. Although I really enjoy the beloved Rimmel pick it’s not the best of the best, so I started my search for another setting powder to keep the shine at bay. Guys, I think I’ve found my (dare I say it) holy grail powder (for now) in the Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder in the shade Translucent Extra Coverage $7. I’d heard Tati talking about the setting powder for a good 2-3 months before I just had to have it! I spotted the powder at my local Long’s and I picked it up while they had a 50% off sale, making this 2.5 oz powder up for grabs for $3.50. Even though it is a loose powder, it doesn’t create a huge mess and the scent smells like my grandma (love it and love her)! The powder itself is extremely finely milled, which allows the user to have a heavy hand in application without any cakeyness. It keeps my oily skin shine free for around 6-7 hours, which is a miracle from God Himself. The natural finish, amazing shine control, and outrageous price makes this loose powder the only one for me!
