It’s no secret that I’m a huge lip product junkie and that fact led me into the loving arms of the Burberry Lip Mist in the color Oxblood ($30). I simply cannot rave enough about this lipstick/extremely tinted lip balm. Burberry really knocked it out of the ballpark when they launched the oxblood color family within their Trench Kisses collection. I’m not sure whether this is a limited edition product or not (crossing my fingers for the latter) so I wanted to share my full review of it just in case it gets removed from the brand’s beauty line.
Burberry’s beauty range is extremely luxurious and their products are top notch in the makeup world. The packaging is magnetic, which makes removing and attaching the cap enjoyable! The cover is mirrored and has the brand’s signature embossing on it (so lux!) The lipstick itself is definitely a medium coverage lipstick, which can be sheered out or built up depending on the user’s preference. I personally like to use the lipstick as a sort of tinted balm on an everyday basis to create a gorgeous berry tint on the lips. The lipstick lasts really well throughout the day for a good 5-6 hours before touch ups are needed. It’s incredibly moisturizing and feels weightless on the lips, which makes me want to apply it even more! I’m trying to restrain myself from wearing this everyday because of the fact that it’s not sold everywhere and I’m currently lacking on the funds to purchase a back up! Overall, this is my absolute favorite lipstick I’ve ever tried and I know that I’ll be using it for years to come. Burberry, you’ve done it again.
