Well it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Although I mix up and style my outfits every day, I often forget or neglect to take a picture of what I’m wearing for more fashion posts. I continued this trend over the past weekend, even as I wore some of my favorite looks– two of which haven’t even been featured on This Is Noelle yet. I tried to mend this mistake by including today’s outfit focused on my beloved geometric halter romper from LOFT. I absolutely adore rompers year round in both Hawaiʻi and Texas, but they’re even more accessible in the former because we have the best weather. When I choose a romper, I usually pick pastel tones and floral patterns, which are both the opposite of this neutral geometric-covered piece. I believe two weeks ago, Jonathan referenced the pattern and asked “is your onesie covered in hot dogs?” I loved everything about this geometric romper when I saw it at LOFT back in Waco. Halters are basically irrelevant in my closet, but I somehow found this version endearing and flattering. Perhaps that’s because this romper isn’t a true halter neck and instead relies on a covered back and tie neck. The shade of the romper is one of the most interesting I’ve seen because it looks like a combination of green, gray, and blue in different lights. The geometric “hot dogs” also add a fun element to the romper and I love how the cut of the piece keeps my waist slightly cinched in. I paired the romper with my favorite nude J.Crew flats, the holy grail Daniel Wellington watch, and my bright pink Kate Spade backpack, which I know doesn’t match the color of the jumper in any way. I’m now on a romper kick so let’s hope my summer school paycheck comes in quickly!
