For the longest time I’ve stuck to strictly powder makeup products. I have extremely oily skin so a liquid bronzer or blush would have the tendency to slip and slide all over my face. However, the tides have changed recently and I’ve been using a *gasp* creamy cheek stain. The Tarte Cheek Stain in Natural Beauty has been my go to blusher as of late. The sheer berry rose shade imparts the perfect amount of color in one sweep but can be built up to a full coverage blush (as shown above). The product is housed in a plastic applicator, which makes application a breeze. I usually apply my foundation and concealer to my face and then sweep the blush on the apples of my cheeks before blending out with a Real Techniques Contour Brush. The blush adds a subtle glow to my face and looks like I’ve been out in the cold. The natural texture and finish makes this the perfect blush throughout the year.
