Although I’ve spent the past six+ months preparing myself for my college graduation, I was also brainstorming possible dresses and looks for the occasion. You know me, I love wearing a beautiful outfit to commemorate special moments! It seemed fitting that an all pink look was the way to go because I wear pink in some form or fashion in my daily outfits every week. I love all things girly and feminine, especially when it comes to fashion, so I searched solely for the perfect pink look and accessories to match over the past couple of months, but constantly fell short. Each of the dresses I previously had my eye on and threw in my online shopping cart ended up being sold out or too expensive for my shoestring “I have to save all my money for New York can’t be broke I’m unemployed” self. It wasn’t until I landed on the Gal Meets Glam Zoe Pleated Bow A-Line Dress (previously mentioned here) that I found my dream dress for the graduation pink look of my dreams. I originally worried that the dress wasn’t as flattering as I initially hoped (I originally wanted a wrap dress with a low cut neckline), but when paired with my well worn and well loved favorite J.Crew bow heels, the outfit was as fun and classic as I could have hoped. I love how the dress hits at my knee and feels heavy enough to wear to fancier events, while also remaining timeless enough for work and everyday. The thicker straps and tight bodice with a waist cinch are extremely flattering and I love how the bow on my chest matches the ones on my heels. When it comes to life milestones, it’s important to dress as if the occasion’s photos will be hung forever. I wanted to look as timeless and feminine in the future as I think I did at graduation and it’s all thanks to my beautiful all pink look!
