With the variety of dark smokey eyes and burgundy lips I display on a daily basis, I’ve been trying to simplify my look on the weekends. Saturdays are usually days for relaxing (and online shopping!) so I’ve been sporting a no-fuss, easy makeup look that’s quicker than it takes to straighten my new bangs!
For the base, I’ve been slapping on my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Punjab which is the absolute perfect match for my skin right now. Buffing it in with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush creates a flawless canvas with the perfect amount of coverage and glow. To conceal any spots or redness, I’ve been reaching for the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC3, which is an amazing godsend on these bad skin days. The hard texture is easy to apply and lasts all day long. I’ve been skipping on powder since the foundation lasts so well on me! For the cheeks I’ve buffed on the Bare Minerals Cheek Duo in The Love Letter & The Daydream for the perfect natural color. I’ve applied it on the apples of my cheeks to give me a really effortless look. Mascara is a must on “no makeup” days and I’ve always got the Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara in Black at arms length. It lengthens and defines in one swipe! Last but not least, I’ve reached for my Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Plum Jam everyday. The color is beautiful and the shine can’t be beat!
