Ever since I created this blog back in 2012 (we just hit nine years at the end of December!), I’ve loved going back to old posts and reading about what I was doing or listening to at a specific time in my life. I think even though I’m basically always burnt out on blogging and procrastinate heavily on each post, that’s why I keep doing this everyday– to remember and celebrate every part of my life. And what better time than now, after the hustle and bustle of the holidays and the brand new year, to share my 2021 playlist (here’s the 2020 version!) filled with the songs that defined each of my months? I hope you’re all ready for an influx of depressing music that makes you want to simultaneously cry and dry heave! This 2021 playlist might just be my favorite yet and I hope you all like it!
