Last week, my friends Traci, Brandie and I decided to picnic and swim at Kailua beach. We picked up some lunch from Kalapawai Market before heading over to the beach. We swam for hours and ate our food during breaks. Unfortunately we didn’t realize how strong the sun was, so we all ended up extremely sunburnt. Before leaving the beach we took pictures and were hit with a quick torrential rain storm. Our arms and legs were tomato-red so shave ice from Island Snow was a must-have before heading home.
