Prior to my family’s east coast trip, I had never seen Dartmouth’s campus. Even though my sister Megan had gone to the university for four years, I hadn’t found the time to fly to Hanover and visit. As soon as we arrived on campus, I was amazed at how beautiful it was. My parents had talked about the large brick buildings and the “big green” (aka the lawn in the middle of campus) with excitement in their voices. I bet the college is spectacular during the winter, but I loved it in the summer. The trees are bushy and green and the sky is always blue. I enjoyed walking around the campus and seeing all of the places where Megan hung out or studied. I especially loved the gelato store in the middle of the town. Dartmouth is beautiful and is a must-see if one is ever in Vermont or New Hampshire!
