Most of us have heard of the different Fashion Weeks held all over the world. Although most of the shows are invitation-only, magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and Elle have given us normal folks a ticket into the many different trends and styles for the upcoming season.
The main Fashion Weeks are:
*London Fashion Week
*Paris Fashion Week
*Milan Fashion Week
*New York Fashion Week
The different shows are held in the four main fashion capitals in the world, however, there are other fashion weeks that aren’t as popular. The first Fashion Week was in 1943 in New York City. The main purpose of the fashion shows was to divert attention from French fashion during the second World War. The New York Fashion Week was a turning point because most of the fashion designers in America at the time had drawn their inspiration from French designers.
There are many different trends displayed at the different Fashion Weeks, showing the new styles and trends for the upcoming seasons.
