September Favorites

Hi everyone! It’s been far too long since my last post. August and September were absolutely crazy on my schedule and I’ve been too focused on school to have time to post, so I apologize for that. I’m hoping that October will be a little bit easier on my schedule so that I can post more frequently! I have quite a bit of drugstore favorites this month so let’s just hop in to it all!

Skin and Body

PINK Sweet & Flirty Body Splash

Completely well named, this body splash has been all I’ve worn throughout the past two months. It’s very subtle and reminiscent of the summer. The cute packaging is perfect for me to throw in my handbag or backpack for quick and easy touchups throughout the day. Overall, it’s one of, if not my favorite Victoria’s Secret body sprays!

Melaleuca Sei Bella Age Defying Serum

I’ve spoken very highly of this serum on my blog before and it’s still my holy grail skincare product. Although it’s anti-aging, it has cleared up my skin like never before. I’ve never had this clear skin before in my life. I highly recommend this to all ages and all skin types!

Makeup

Maybelline Fit Me Stick Foundation

My new favorite foundation, this stick formula works wonders! I have extremely oily skin, so foundations tend to fade on my skin around the 5-6 hour mark. This one however, lasts around 16 hours on me! It’s completely amazing!

Maybelline Fit Me Powder

After using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder for a while, I rediscovered this old favorite of mine. It keeps me shine free for 6 hours and it makes my base look amazing and glowing!

Revlon Matte Blusher

This blush is just incredible! It’s the perfect natural color on my cheeks and I love how it’s matte. The berry shade is perfect for the fall and it matches wonderfully with one of my lip favorites of the month!

Real Techniques Essential Foundation Brush

Even though this is the RT foundation brush, I find it to be the perfect size and shape for concealer! It pats the concealer into any problem areas with ease and blends it all in without looking cakey.

Sephora Pro #45 Mineral Powder Brush

Nearly 1 year later, I’m still going strong with this foundation brush. I use it everyday no matter what type of foundation I’m using and it gives me the perfect flawless finish.

NYC Shimmering Sands Palette

At just $4.99, this palette is great for a neutral everyday eye. The highlight shade is incredibly pigmented, and the medium brown is a really good creases color!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick

I love this shadow stick for layering under the NYC palette. It leaves my shadow creaseless for the whole day and it’s really pigmented for wearing alone!

Maybelline The Rocket Mascara

An old favorite of mine, this mascara has been great for long, full lashes everyday. It doesn’t flake or smudge on my lower lashline, which is an added bonus!

Revlon Wild Watermelon Lip Butter

This lip butter has to be my favorite red of all time. It’s extremely moisturizing and has so much color payoff! Whenever I wear this, I get loads of compliments on the shade and the beautiful sheen it has.

Revlon Berry Smoothie Lip Butter

A perfect match to the Revlon blush, this lip butter has been a great fall pick. It’s a very subtle berry, so it works great with my everyday smokey eyes.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me

When I just want a hint of color and a lot of hydration, this is the balm I reach for. I love the smell and the beautiful shade of red!

Musical Instruments

Taylor 414rce Guitar

Although this is my dad’s guitar and not mine, he still lets me borrow it whenever I want. Thanks dad! It’s beautiful with a rich, deep sound that you can’t find with any other guitar. I’ve been getting back into playing it daily, and it helps me to rediscover why the guitar is my favorite instrument to play.

Bluesband Harmonica

My harmonica is one of my favorite instruments of all time. It seems silly and childish to play but I love the fun and unique sound of it. I always have it in my purse no matter what!

Irish Whistle

My favorite present from my dad’s trip to Ireland, this Irish whistle has annoyed my family everyday. Haha! I’ve learned loads of songs on it and it keeps me entertained when I do homework until 2 am!

Photography

Fujifilm Quicksnap Disposable Camera

I’ve discovered my love for film cameras recently. Although this is a cheap disposable camera from Walmart, it still gives off the same effect. Nowadays, everything is so quick and online, that I love keeping this in my bag and snapping pictures as I go, excited to see the finished product!

Pentax K1000 Film Camera

A true film camera, I’ve used this Pentax one for the past few months for school. I love developing and printing the film myself and waiting to see the end pictures! It’s so fun to use older cameras and adjust all of settings manually, rather than just pointing and shooting.

Music

Kodaline

If there’s one thing you discover this month, let it be Kodaline, the amazing band from Ireland. I can’t say good enough things about them, so I’ll just let you all listen to them on your own and fan over them as I do every day!

Well that was a bit longer than I expected! I hope you all enjoyed my favorites and I want you to let me know what some of your favorite products were in the comments section!
