While my family and I were prepping for our trip to San Francisco, we made to sure to create a list of all the places we wanted to visit and all the restaurants we wanted to eat at. Because I decided that I would take my senior pictures in the Bay Area, I wanted to find beautiful places that were different and unique. One of my favorite SF fashion bloggers, Julia, wrote a post of her favorite places in the city to visit and roam around, including Alamo Square by the Painted Ladies.
If you don’t know what the Painted Ladies are, they’re a street of Victorian houses painted with bright colors and are nicknamed “postcard row” because of the beautiful scenery and homes. Alamo Square is the lush park next to the houses, which is the perfect area for dog lovers to hang out and frequent picnic-ers. When Julia showed her fabulous pictures of the green foliage in the park and the beautiful landscape, I knew I had to visit the park for myself and take pictures. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots in SF and we’ll have to head back over to the flower beds with a basket of sandwiches and scones!
