I wanted to have a proper manicure before I leave for spring break, but unfortunately the old gods hate me, and my recently assigned 10 page essay has kept me locked at home. Uninterested in my current stash of nail polishes, I took a quick (40 minute) trip to Ulta and picked up a few makeup bits I needed anyway, along with the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Ginger. I love the neutral mauve shade because all of my current polishes run bold and cool-toned. The polish is said to last up to 10 days due to its seven benefits: base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, salon color, top coat, chip resistance, and gel shine finish. My favorite feature of the polish is its big ass brush, which only requires two slicks per nail. Essie polishes have the thinnest brushes, which make application a pain in my ass, which is why having loads of bristles is beneficial to a quick manicure. I put the same color on my toes and after only two coats, I completed my own mani and pedi under $10!
