Although I’ve immersed myself in Rudy Francisco and William Evans’ books over Christmas break, I’ve still kept my eyes peeled on poets.org and Kaveh Akbar’s twitter (he shares beautiful pieces every day!) for new writings that inspire me. This month, I’ve located poems based solely on love and the journey of life. Some aim for romantic love while others recognize the importance of platonic and familial love. As I journey through 2018, I hope these words will resonate in my own life and heart.
