It’s no secret that I love to eat and although this is mainly a beauty blog, I want to incorporate more food and lifestyle posts. My first edition of “Noelle Eats” is focusing on Cafe Laufer, which is located on 3565 Waialae Ave #107 in Kaimuki, Hawaii. I’ve been going to Cafe Laufer for as long as I can remember. The delicious sandwiches and desserts are always my go to whenever I eat there. My family quickly became friends with the manager Steph who runs the restaurant. The cafe has a really relaxed atmosphere with not too many tables and chairs to clutter the space. Customers are asked to order at the counter in the front of the cafe where all of the amazing desserts and pastries are displayed. The wait staff is always helpful and quick to bring out meals. All of the food is reasonably priced for the amount of food provided and the desserts are especially large. On our most recent trip to the cafe, my parents and I ordered a croissant (or two) to start and then went straight into the main course. My mom ordered her typical tuna sandwich on a french roll with pasta salad, I ordered the tomato basil pasta with chicken, and my dad got the bratwurst sandwich with sauerkraut. Each item was absolutely delicious and plated beautifully. For dessert, we ordered the peanut butter and banana mousse, chocolate decadence (not pictured), and the pumpkin crunch mousse. If you haven’t been to Cafe Laufer, I highly recommend it as it’s one of, if not my favorite restaurant to eat at for any meal of the day. They are open everyday for lunch and dinner (or for a quick snack if you’re lucky). Go ahead, I know you want to try that pumpkin crunch!
