I’ve gotten a lot of use out of my favorite Nike Airmax sneakers over the past two years, so it was time to add a new pair to my collection. I went with the Nike Ashin Modern Run shoes because I love the combination of colors on the sneakers. My Airmaxes were two different shades of pink and the Ashins up the ante with a collection of white, gray, peach, and pink across the shoe. The Ashins are durable enough for running and everyday wear (which I love incorporating into my closet) as they’re covered in thin, breathable mesh and have sturdy rubber soles. They’re insanely comfortable and I will enjoy adding them to my sneaker pile. I would style the shoes with denim shorts and a floral top for day and a white blouse and white jeans for night. In the event that I go for a run (aka never), I know the shoes won’t give me blisters or come off easily. I’ll keep these more for everyday use than for hiking and exercise, but they’re perfect for any occasion!
