Since my main loves are makeup and fashion, I tend to stray away from talking about skin and body products. However, I’ve been trying out my fair share of products and they’ve become necessities in my daily/weekly beauty regime.
The first product I’ve been loving is The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion. Thanks to my lovely mother, I’ve had the chance to use this manual exfoliator and it’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever used. It has microscopic exfoliating beads (none of the harsh apricot seeds or rubber balls) that when worked into the skin, leaves the surface smooth and silky. It’s also made with fair trade ingredients, which is a major plus for the self-sustaining beauty industry! Another skin product I’ve been obsessed with is the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes. These makeup wipes are completely soaked with product without being too liquid-y or greasy on the skin. After I use one of these, my skin feels nourished and clean with no left over product sitting on the surface. They’re a bit pricey, so I’ll definitely be using them sparingly! The last product I’ve loved is The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub (I know, I know, another Body Shop favorite). The Body Shop is killing it in the body and skincare category of my product stash. This scrub has larger exfoliants that really get to the dermis (science talk) of the skin, leaving my limbs as smooth as they’ve ever been. It smells heavenly, especially when paired with the brand’s Shea Body Butter!
Have you tried any of these products?
