J.Crew’s new arrivals section sucks me in every time I go on a browsing spree and this recent selection is full of the colorful and feminine pieces I love. I’ve recently been purchasing handfuls of blue tops in all shades and I need some more pink in my life. I accidentally went too click happy on a late ass night/early ass morning as my stress and anxiety piled up and bought ALL THE THINGS. The Carrie Bradshaw in me saw the Stella Bow Heels and instantly pressed purchase. I know, I know, I’m a poor college student, but I got paid a week after I bought them! That’s okay right? Okay it’s probably not smart to buy clothes and accessories with money I don’t have yet, but I’ll get better. While I entertain my growling stomach with a loaf of bread and water for the next few months, I’ll sport these gorgeous babies with the biggest smile (and not a hint of buyer’s remorse). Those adorable rainbow ear jewels are the Love Knot Chandelier Earrings, which were too pretty to pass up. I mainly sport big ass statement earrings and these beauties are the creme de la creme of statement earrings. They’re a bit heavy on my fat lobes, but damn do they look gorgeous. I would love to wear them with a classic black dress and a black purse as a pop of color. So I was decently good and didn’t buy every piece at full price. I snagged the Velvet Peplum Cami Top in the prettiest blush shade that would look equally as beautiful with jeans and work pants. The chandelier earrings would also pair perfectly with the top and a braided up-do. J.Crew jeans are my all-time favorites, especially when I find some on sale! Luckily, the retailer added one of their classic high waist jeans in true black to the sale section. The Highest Rise Toothpick Jean sucks in all the jiggly bits and flexes to fit every curve. I own three pairs of High Rise Toothpick Jeans and love each one more than the last. Which piece is your favorite? How would you style it?
