New In at Sephora

There are always fantastic beauty releases after the holiday season and this year is no different. Sephora is packed with brand new skincare and makeup products to keep shoppers looking pretty for the new year. Although there are loads of fresh items hitting the shelves, I picked out a few that have really caught my eye over the past few weeks.

Starting clockwise from the left, the Smashbox Photo Filter Powder Foundation sounds like an absolute dream for natural, flawless skin lovers. It’s supposed to be an oil-free creamy powder that allows the user to customize her coverage level without looking dry or cakey. How perfect for the Spring time! Next up is a skincare release from Benefit in the form of Puff Off!– an eye gel that’s supposed to smooth and prime the under eye area. The custom “iron tip” feels cool on the skin and creates a satin canvas for concealer with no creasing. The absolute beaut of the quad is the Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow Palette in the shade Obscura. Hourglass has brought out their Ambient Lighting Powders and Blushers in the past, but this one truly is gorgeous. The five eyeshadows are blended together, allowing the user to brush on each shadow individually or all together for a unique tint. There are two shimmers and three mattes in each and there is a large selection of palette shades. Last but not least is the YSL Volupté Tint-in-Oil in Undress Me 3. This hybrid gloss/balm/oil is described as a “lip tint suspended in a deep conditioning oil”, which is stunning and lightweight on the lips. Eight shades housed in typically glamorous packaging makes for one beautiful Spring.
