I’ve been purchasing new Cole Haan shoes since I bought my first pair of sneakers 5 years ago (look how skinny and young I was!), and today’s sneakers and mules are the most current additions to my collection (quarantine just makes me want to buy things…so I do). Shopping is definitely not the most important activity right now, but I haven’t gone out or spent money on anything other than credit card bills and student loans over the past two months, so online purchases seem to be the most exciting part of my life now! In January I bought these new Cole Haan pale pink crocodile mules that I’ve loved and worn most days, so I then bough a white pair, and now I’m onto my third mule duo—this time in Marine Blue Suede (and on sale!). I love these mules because they’re ridiculously comfortable, they have a perfect one inch heel, and they work in both office and night out settings. I like to wear mine whenever I don’t want a painful heel (unless the outfit of choice requires one), and I still feel just as dressed up. My closet is full of navy tops and dresses, so this blue suede will perfectly match most of my favorite looks! Going back to my Cole Haan roots, I instantly purchased the GrandPrø Rally Court Sneaker in Pink-Indigo-Coral-Rose (not the most creative name, but also on sale!) after my parents convinced me to buy them. I already know I love all of the brand’s sneakers (I got these black/white/mint ones in 2016 and a similar gray and white pair the year after) and these seemed like the most grown up of my bunch because they’re fully leather and have a slight heel embedded inside. The color combination might be a little difficult to match with my closet components, but I assume they would pair well as a pop of color for a full monochromatic look!
