New Baylor Football Uniforms for 2024

New Baylor Football uniforms

Five years since the Baylor Athletics department unveiled an exciting and long-anticipated Baylor Athletics rebrand labeled #BaylorUnited (read my blog post from 2019 here), the Baylor Football team shared a collection of four brand new uniforms for the 2024 season! The initial rebrand was a collaboration with Nike to “unite” the look and appearance of all Baylor sports so that their uniforms are cohesive and the Baylor Athletics brand is innovative and homogeneous, directly matching the university’s school colors. The rebrand also included a new interlocking BU logo, a fresh bear head, and Baylor branding. The newly unveiled 2024 football uniforms are a fresh take on the 2019 looks with an added “Anthracite” black version—probably the most exciting and anticipated one for Baylor fans. As with the previous uniforms, Nike utilized Baylor’s Gorge Green, University Gold, White, and now Anthracite to create the updated collection that can combine for up to 64 styles including helmets and other accessories. As it pertains to the black uniforms, Baylor Football shared, “The all-new Anthracite uniform option features unique elements, including homages to special past uniform combinations. The front of the jersey will feature “BAYLOR” across the chest and the numbers in Gold. On the sleeves of the jersey, there will be a bear claw print, a nod towards the 2013-14 Big 12 Championship teams. The pants will feature a subtle stripe, a break from the sharp green/white/gold stripes in the core uniform pants. The front bumper of the helmet will also feature a Bear head on the Anthracite uniform. The Green, Gold and White will serve as Baylor’s core uniform base, with the alternate combination designed to be a supplemental option.” The green, gold, and white uniforms look similar to the previous iterations while adding the same three colors as stripes on the jersey sleeves and pants. There’s no better way to prepare for and begin the 2024 football season!
