Natural Everyday Makeup

Although I’m a huge fan of dark smoky eyes, bold lips, and contoured cheeks, I can usually be seen sporting minimal makeup (a five+ product routine). For the look pictured, I used a total of eight makeup items ranging from concealer to lipstick. It’s an easy, no-fuss routine that gives me enough time to sleep in an extra five minutes and grab an apple on my way out the door.

To start off, I dabbed the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC3 on any redness and under my eyes and brushed on a bit of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation in Light Sand to even out the rest of my skin. The two products together create a lightweight, flawless base that looks extremely natural and lets my skin breathe. To add a hint of color to my face, I applied my favorite The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in shade 3 for dimension and warmth. I did my usual eyebrow routine by filling in any gaps with the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette and set the brows with the Maybelline Brow Drama in Deep Brown. I lined my tightline with an Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Empire for a hint of definition and applied lashings of my Makeup Forever Smoky Extravagant Mascara in Black, which is impeccable at adding volume and length. Last but not least, I dabbed on a bit of the MAC Lipstick in Modesty for a bit of color and sheen.

Now, where’s that apple?
