If you’ve been around the backlogs of this blog over the past four years, you would know how captivated I am by the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard. I’ve used this formula every single day for all looks and occasions because I couldn’t get enough of its texture and coverage. However, I realized the shade didn’t truly match my skin tone and I wanted a new concealer that blended into my skin for the most natural no makeup-makeup look. Enter the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in the same shade. This tiny pot initially looks like it contains a thick solid cover, but the concealer itself is so creamy and malleable. Although the shades look identical on my arm, Soft Matte blends into the skin perfectly and builds up to a true full coverage. I love how Soft Matte mimics my skin texture and covers all of my hyperpigmentation and spots without looking like I’m wearing makeup. Radiant Creamy is still a great concealer, but because the tube is thin, the product runs out extremely quickly. It also seems to separate on my oily skin and doesn’t provide as much coverage as I need when I have a rather large spot or breakout. Soft Matte on the other hand disguises all blemishes and under eye circles without caking or settling into creases. I adore this concealer much more than Radiant Creamy and, at least for now, I’ll never use another product again!
