My Most Comfortable Spring Outfit

My most comfortable spring outfit

LOFT top, rag & bone jeans, Banana Republic flats (similar), Daniel Wellington watch

When I went to Fossil Rim with Lo, Jonathan, and Urn for Jonathan’s birthday last weekend, I knew I needed to wear a look that was both cute (obviously) and comfortable for a two hour drive and hours of sitting in the car while we fed the animals. Texas’ weather has gradually begun heating up over the past two months as we’re now in the middle of spring time, which means I’ve had to put away all of my favorite outfits and opt instead of thinner warm weather clothing. It’s no secret that my favorite season for dressing up is winter because I love layering pieces and covering myself up in coats and scarves. For that reason, transitioning from winter to spring is difficult each year. However, I’ve tried to establish an easy spring uniform consisting of soft jeans and loose blouses that allow me to wear my favorite styles without dying of heatstroke throughout the day. I opted for my most comfortable spring outfit that I thoroughly enjoy wearing for its color scheme, fun details, and overall comfort. This LOFT blouse is a peplum style with a beautiful flower pattern and buttons running down the front. I love wearing the top in any spring outfit so I still feel like myself despite the dreaded heat and humidity! I would style the top with any look and I think it would go as perfectly with shorts and white pants as it does with my favorite jeans. Speaking of denim, these rag & bone jeans are my favorite pair ever! I used to only wear J.Crew jeans, but this pair is buttery soft and doesn’t make me feel too constricted when I’m living my life. To finish the spring outfit, I added my beloved glitter flats from Banana Republic that I wear almost every day. The shoes go with any outfit, but I think it couples especially well with the floral pattern on my top and my true blue jeans. This look was perfect for Fossil Rim as I felt like myself and I was comfortable enough to pass out for an hour on the ride back!
