We’ve officially hit the 30 day countdown to graduation, people! Are we excited? Are we nervous? Are we completely ready to get the hell out of school? That would be a yes to all three questions. Because I’m an anxious idiot and there’s no way I’m repeating a class or staying in Waco longer than necessary, I check my degree audit everyday just to make sure I’m actually getting a diploma on May 18. Seems reasonable, right? Anyway, we’re continuing my journey through all of the major senior milestones before graduation today as I shower you guys with some of my favorite senior pictures I took with one of my friends, the talented wizard-with-a-camera– Sophia! She graciously shot my senior pictures in front of some of my most beloved Baylor locations including Pat Neff, Carroll Science (the English building aka my home away from home that doesn’t even have a printer), and McLane Stadium (aka the most beautiful spot in Texas/the continent). Although we had to fight like a thousand haole girls who were also taking their senior pictures at the same time for a few minutes at each spot, I’m happy that we waited until the middle of April to shoot because the end of my semester, and time in college is finally starting to hit me. It doesn’t seem like it was only four years ago that I took my high school senior pictures in Waikīkī and Kakaʻako, and now, I’m a few weeks away from leaving college. I wanted these pictures to be timeless and classic so I wouldn’t cringe looking back on them years from now, so I wore my favorite polka dot wrap dress from LOFT (the most flattering cut ever!!) with my black Cole Haan heels, and my Daniel Wellington watch under my cap and gown. Now that I’m kicking my own ass into gear to finish my remaining six final essays, study for final exams, and I’ve taken my senior pictures, I’m ready for the last nine class days and graduation to come soon!
