Mini Drugstore Haul + Review!

Hi guys, I’m back with a small drugstore haul! I’ve been wanting to try these products for a while and whilst I was at Target, I decided to pick them up. Let me know in the comments section if you’ve tried these products and if so, what your thoughts were! Enjoy!

Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Coral Crush

I’m not sure if this is a part of the Maybelline Vivid’s collection, but I heard a lot of good things about this lipstick and I couldn’t agree more! The pigmentation is lovely and it smells like vanilla, which is a bonus! It has hints of red in it, which looks nice against my skin tone. Overall, this lipstick is very smooth and creamy with a sheen-y finish to it. I love this lipstick and I think it’s perfect for Spring and Summer!

Maybelline Color Whisper balm in Rose of Attraction

Because of my vast amount of red lip products, I’ve been wanting a natural “my lips but better” lip color. I own another Color Whisper balm and I love the formula, so I thought I would try another one. This shade could not be any more perfect for my lip color! It has a plum tone to it and I think it will be refreshing to wear a color that’s not red this Summer!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal in Black

While I’m not a huge fan of black eyeliner, I picked this one up today because I’ve heard that it’s comparable to Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil. When people talk about drugstore dupes, they usually aren’t completely similar, but I have to agree with this eyeliner. The creamy and smooth formula is extremely blendable and very much the same with the UD ones. The packaging is pretty much the same as is the kohl liner. I noticed a dramatic difference when I lined my tightline with this liner as you can see above. This liner is very affordable at $4.99 compared to UD’s $19.00. I would say that these liners are almost exactly alike, so if you’re thinking of buying the UD liners, head over to Target or CVS and pick the Rimmel ones up instead.
