May Day

Here in Hawai‘i, May Day is known as “lei day”. It’s a celebration of Hawaiian culture, which is usually shown through hula, mele, giving each other lei, and/or eating Hawaiian food. Lucky for me, all of those options occurred throughout my day. It’s usually a laidback day that’s not as rushed or difficult as normal. I spent most of my day listening to Hawaiian music and eating delicious food (and watching rounds two and three of the NFL Draft!), which was the perfect way to enjoy Aloha Friday.
