Whilst in Maui, I was able to spend extra time with some of my favorite people including two of my closest friends Mikayla (blue jacket) and Kai‘olu (yellow shirt). I’ve been friends with Kai‘olu for nine years and we’ve gone through many ups and downs together. She’s been there for me during my chubby upper elementary years and constantly listens to me vent or discuss who my newest favorite football player is. Mikayla and I became friends three years ago when she was a freshman and have become especially close over the years. We consistently say the same things at the same time and pretty much agree on everything. I’m really thankful for these friendships and for the time we spent together last week!
