Baylor basketball’s 2018 squad looks like a monster with the addition of transfers Makai Mason and Mario Kegler to an already loaded underclassmen group. With the loss of Manu Lecomte, Jo Lual-Acuil, Nuni Omot, and Terry Maston the year prior, bringing in a couple of experienced transfers is a good plan by Scott Drew and co. Kegler is a small forward from Mississippi State who will have three years of eligibility left in the NCAA. As the No. 48 national prospect in 2016, Kegler brings a level of status and expertise that Drew is used to working with. In his only season at Mississippi State, Kegler averaged 9.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He also shot 35% of three-pointers and 42% of field goals. I’m excited to see how he’ll contribute to my beloved Bears in the next few years.
