March Favorites

I’m still not sure how the days go by quicker and quicker each month but we’re now finding ourselves in the midst of spring! I had quite a good March in all aspects including school, band, travel, and blogging. I made a few beauty and fashion discoveries and even started writing my own music (will be discussing in future posts)!

One of my huge favorites in March was my custom MAC palette that I received for my birthday. I’ve been playing around with each shade recently and some of my notable favorites are Satin Taupe (first row, far left), Patina (first row, second from left), and Woodwinked (second row, middle). The shadows are all really pigmented and blend well together. I’ve been loving a shimmery shade all over the lid with a clean crease and lashings of mascara on an everyday basis. Speaking of mascara, my most loved product in March was the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. This mascara helped me to achieve extremely long and bold eyelashes that are intensely black. The formula is a bit wet but doesn’t make my lashes droop and curls them really well. I rediscovered two of my old holy grail products in the form of the LancĂ´me Lip Lover in the shade Rose Contre-Temps and the Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede Cologne. The Lip Lover was one of my all time favorite lip products that I found last spring and I’ve been using it for an easy natural look. It’s a beautiful rose shade that lasts a good amount of time without being sticky. The Jo Malone perfume is my second favorite scent that I’ve ever used because it smells fresh and floral- perfect for a spring day. Last but not least is my sole skincare product: the Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Cleanser. I loved this cleanser because it’s a balm that transforms into a melted oil on the skin. It thoroughly cleans and hydrates even on oily skin types!
