Manuhealiʻi Monstera

Manuhealiʻi topOld Navy pants, Ocean Creations necklace, Daniel Wellington watch, Kate Spade bag (old)

The first time I fell in love with a Manuhealiʻi piece was when my best friend Kaiʻolu wore a red and orange dress to our sixth grade picture day. My mom never sported the brand so I was unaware of its prevalence in the closets of local women. However, once I saw the dress I knew I wanted one of my own. Some eight years later and Manuhealiʻi is still expensive as hell but I’ve been lucky enough to  rack up a few pieces for my wardrobe. I love this peplum top from the Monstera collection because it features my favorite colors and would be the perfect design for Kamehameha. I paired it with my polka dot Pixie pants, which I was unsure of at first. Are the mixed patterns too much? Are people staring at my janky outfit? What is the proper way to mix prints? Ultimately I decided the clashing patterns are just right and repeatedly wore this outfit at home. Now, how great would it be to drape myself in Manuhealiʻi every day forever?
