For the past couple of years I’ve been wanting to change things up a bit in the hair department. I’ve always had wavy brown hair that’s usually left to hang over my shoulders. I cut myself some side swept bangs around 4 years ago and that’s how it’s stayed until this past Saturday. I took a dive out of my comfort zone and got the ‘not really bangs anymore’ bangs chopped to a chicer straight across fringe. Adding a few long layers to my tresses has also helped in the styling department, tossing the heaviness of a blunt cut out the window. The best part of the new bangs is that it’s just long enough to skim the eyelashes for a straight across look and can be pushed to the side for a wispy effect. New year, new hair sorted.
