Lots of Pink in the Park

Lots of pink in the park

Brandy Melville top, Brandy Melville camisole, Levi’s shorts, Kate Spade backpack (purchased here), Kate Spade sunglasses (old, similar here), Cole Haan shoes (similar here)

I’m using another alternative background for this fashion post, similar to that of my last one outside of my mom’s school (read that post here)! Ever since I started my weight loss journey, I’ve focused on wearing simple clothing pieces I can rotate without getting sick of them. I bought clothes during my weight loss midpoint and closer toward my end goal, but eventually those no longer fit well and buying uncomplicated tees and dresses seemed like the best option. Brandy Melville is extremely problematic like I’ve mentioned before, but these tops fit well and are comfortable for every day. I’ve had to purchase lots of new clothes over the past several months and I honed in on lots of pink pieces that are are some of the comfiest and easiest to pair with other ones! Especially on weekends and days where I have lots to do and want to wear what feels best, I go for the pieces that aren’t restricting or elaborate (and obviously these aren’t at all). I’m always wearing and styling lots of pink clothes, accessories, and office wear, and this pink and white top is one of my favorites! I love a low cut top and this cross neck one with short sleeves and white flowers is perfect for spring and summer. If I wanted to be really adventurous I would style the top without this tiny white cami underneath, but I find it more comfortable worn this way in the daytime. I paired the layered tops with my new favorite Levi’s shorts that fit like a dream and are the best length on my thighs! For my added lots of pink accessories, I wore my all time favorite sparkly pink sunglasses from Kate Spade, my trusty hot pink Kate Spade backpack, and these Cole Haan loafers I’ve worn for the past 5 years. Add a swipe of pink lip balm and I think my over the top girly outfit is ready to go!
