June Favorites!

So…June is almost over. What? This year is flying by and next month there will only be 5 more months until Christmas!

Now enough of my major planning ahead, let’s get on to my June favorites! I have quite a bit of new products to share with you guys so I’m really excited about this!

Makeup

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

If there was only one word I could use to describe this foundation, it would be ‘perfect’. The coverage is amazing (medium-full) and it can be used as both a base and a concealer! It’s incredibly pigmented, which is wonderful for spot concealing. My favorite way to use this is to mix it with my moisturizer to make it lighter for day-day wear! I also love how it comes in a plastic tube that dispenses the perfect amount every time so that I don’t waste foundation! It is pretty pricey ($43 USD) so I’m learning to use this as more of a special occasion/night out foundation. Overall, this is probably tied with my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua for my Holy Grail foundation!

Sephora Eye Shadow Deluxe Palette

th

This eyeshadow palette came with 3 other palettes in a deluxe Sephora set. I was given this as a gift a while ago, so I don’t know if they still sell this in store, but if you can find it, I highly highly recommend it! The shadows are so pigmented and I love how each palette comes with shadows, lip glosses, and a matching blush! The shadows are so easily blendable and they last extremely long! I’ve been using the shimmery champagne color all over my lid, the medium brown in the crease, and the deep brown as a liner. They are amazing and I am planning to use the rest of the palettes as well as this one!

Maybelline Master Smokey Eyeshadow Pencil

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this liner ever since I saw Sineady use it in her smokey eye video. It’s incredibly easy to blend and I love the sponge tip applicator on the opposite side of the line! It’s easy to use as a regular liner or for a little bit of shading across the lids.

Elf Baked Eyeshadow (Bark)

It would probably be an understatement to say that to me, this is the best drugstore eyeshadow I have ever tried. For only $3, the formulation is so soft and buttery, and the eyeshadow itself is incredibly pigmented and easy to blend. I love the rich brown color and the subtle shimmer. This is probably one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time!

MAC Plumful Lipstick

I’m probably a little bit late to the MAC Cosmetics blogger craze! I’ve really been loving the drugstore lip products nowadays so I haven’t tried out many MAC lipsticks. Plumful is a gorgeous plum-fuschia shade that is so pretty! I love the finish of the Lustre lipsticks and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s sheeny and lightweight on the lips, so I will definitely repurchase this after I finish it!

Body/Skin

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

This is an old favorite of mine (I used 2 bottles in 5 months) that I sort of tossed aside in the recent months. It’s such a lovely spray/toner and I love using it after cleansing, before moisturizing for an extra burst of glow and hydration!

Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter

I got this as a sample and after using it, my love for Bliss products increased! I really like their Fabulous Foaming Face Wash and this body butter is just as good! It’s incredibly soft and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy, which is a major plus! I love the fresh and clean smell, and I will most likely purchase the full size of it after my sample runs out!

Victoria’s Secret Sparkling Sugared Pear Body Splash

Victoria’s Secret sprays and perfumes always have high compliments, and for good reason. This body splash smells incredible and is so lightweight! As you can see, the bottle is huge, so it will last me for a good amount of time! It’s the perfect Spring/Summer scent and I intend on using it all up!
