Johnathan Motley Signs with Dallas Mavericks

Undrafted not for long! Former Baylor F Johnathan Motley was passed over during the 2017 NBA Draft to the surprise of most college basketball fans in the nation, but his rejection didn’t last long. The Dallas Mavericks agreed to sign Motley to a two-way deal where he can spend up to 45 days with the Mavs and will play the rest of his contract with the Texas Legends in the NBA Gatorade League. Although he won’t spend the whole two years on court with the Mavs, the contract is still an exciting step forward for the forward (sorry, not funny) in his hopes of becoming an NBA success story. Congratulations, Mot!
