I know, I know—another makeup video? Even in the high holy days of my high school YouTube makeup video and vlog creations (I wanted to be like Lisa Eldridge and the British YouTubers of the early 2010s okay?) I wasn’t posting this many videos, but TikTok is a new beast I’m trying to conquer! I haven’t changed my makeup routine for a few years now and I almost completely stopped wearing eyeshadow aside from the occasional fancy dinner or nice function because I’m lazy and can’t be bothered with extra steps. Especially since I haven’t gone out anywhere since the start of COVID, I’ve stuck to my simple everyday makeup without spicing up my products. I’ve been inspired since I made my date night get ready with me video to experiment with eyeshadows and eyeliners again, so I put together this super simple and easy golden eyes look using only one shadow and liner with my regular products. Because on this day I was only staying home and getting groceries, I wanted to go light on the base and skipped tinted moisturizer all together. I used my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard to cover up any blemishes and dark circles and set the coverage with my everyday powder. I dusted on a ton of blush because I love flushed skin with copper and gold features. For my golden eyes, I used only MAC Woodwinked and lined my upper lashline with a NYX liner in Dark Brown before applying lashings of mascara. I finished the look with my favorite ever NARS Lipstick in Dolce Vita while talking about the 3 most impactful parts of the Baylor vs. Oklahoma State game that nearly killed me. I hope you like this makeup look and my video!
