Did I mention I’m following in the footsteps of the yt youths and making TikToks now (I did just recently share a recipe and Baylor QB Gerry Bohanon talk)? I’ve been sucked into the platform since Lo and Jonathan forced me to watch hundreds of silly videos so I wanted to attempt some of my own. One of my greatest passions in life is college football—specifically Baylor Football—so after I made my first (horrible, glitchy, and long) cooking video, I thought I’d combine two topics I blog about a lot on here: Baylor football and beauty/fashion. I was already going to get ready for date night with my lovely boyfriend after almost losing my voice watching the Baylor vs. Kansas game (read my recap of the matchup here!) with my parents, so my natural idea progression combined those two aspects of my life. If Baylor Football is one of my biggest passions, writing and talking about the program for work and pleasure is a dream of mine. I know I’ll probably never get the chance to work for Baylor again like I used to or to pursue athletics as a career, so I thought (and correctly so) it would be fun to talk about Baylor Football/Athletics while doing other activities in which I usually partake but this time in video format. Two Saturdays ago I got ready for date night and put eyeshadow on for the first time in nearly two years!! I used my favorite Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette (sold out everywhere now apparently?) and put the shades Twig and Dystopian in my crease and outer corner, respectively, and I dabbed Rose Quartz on the middle of my lid. I lined my lashline with a mixture of Dystopian and Noir and topped off my lashes with layers and layers of my favorite L’Oreal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara and finished the look with my regular face products and my beloved NARS Lipstick in Dolce Vita. I rambled a bit about the Baylor vs. Kansas game because I just had way too many thoughts worth noting, but I promise I’ll focus my opinions a little more and produce better football and makeup/cooking/fashion TikToks if anyone is interested in them!
