Is there ever a season where I’m not fixated on mixing colors and patterns? Ever since I began experimenting more with my personal style in September 2022, I’ve exercised my styling muscles in every scenario and environment. I’ve come a long way from wearing only black clothing items and accessories every day as a middle and high schooler and my closet is almost entirely comprised of the brightest, boldest shades! Spring time is where my outfits truly come alive as pastels and brights are most worn (a la Miranda Priestly’s iconic florals for Spring quote), so I’m finally seasonally appropriate. I’ve worn this sheer purple Mango top at least once every other week since I bought it on Poshmark last year as it’s turned into quite the closet staple. I once primarily considered ways to incorporate outerwear like sweaters and cardigans and jackets over my outfits when I thought of layering as a concept, but now I love styling tops and shirts under my dresses and even other tops. I would have never thought to wear anything under this baby blue gingham dress when I first bought it (remember when I wore the most adorable knit tank over it in this post?), but I can’t think of any colorful layering look I love more! Charlotte Stone’s Lenu heels are still the shoes that encapsulate my style best and they’re the most comfortable and beautiful pair I own. I’ve been fixated on my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC for nearly 11 years as it’s one of my most worn and loved pieces in my closet, and I adore how it adds a slightly edgier element to this overly colorful spring look.
