The last of the winter months flew by and I can’t believe that we’re heading into March! I’ve gathered together quite a few bits of beauty, skincare, and even an accessory that I loved throughout February. From flawless, natural skin to sheeny eyes and loads of lashes, this month was a good’un.
My go-to base this month was the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Punjab blended in with a damp Beauty Blender and some Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC3 patted on any spots or redness. The combination of the beauty blender and the skin products create a natural yet full coverage base that feels lightweight and doesn’t look cakey at all. On the eyes, I was loving a slightly golden sheen on the eyes with a hint of camel in the crease. I’ve been toning back on the dark smoky eye and have opted for lighter, more natural shadows. My cousin gave me this beautiful Bare Minerals READY Convertible Eyeshadow Palette for Christmas which allows the user to pop out a three-pan palette and push her desired shades in each slot. The shadow I was loving the most this month was the middle golden shade called Hot Commodity. It’s really pigmented, lasts all day on the eyes, and looks wonderful against a tan. Lashings of mascara against the gold shadow was a must and for voluminized and lengthened lashes, I reached for the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara in Black. The mascara is pitch black, makes my eyelashes look huge and doesn’t flake off. It’s definitely a winner in my book. For skincare, I loved the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream for the dry patches on my elbows and knees. This moisturizer can be used on both the face and body and doesn’t have any scents. It does exactly what it says on the tube by hydrating all of my dry skin areas and doesn’t irritate my body. Last up is my newest accessory favorite in the form of the DvF Riley Sunglasses, which are huge and cover nearly my whole face! The tortoise shell design allows the glasses to match any outfit and they protect my eyes from harmful UVA/UVB rays while looking stylish at the same time. They cost a pretty penny, but they’re the perfect accessory for the spring and summer time.
