Binge watching “Sex and the City” led to the transformation of my shoe obsession from sneakers to Carrie-worthy heels and flats (okay let’s be honest, Carrie never wore flats). While I’m on no Manolo Blahnik budget, I still managed to add a couple of classic pairs to my wardrobe over the past few months. I found these gorgeous Cole Haan Crisscross Block Heel Sandals (similar here and here) in August and they’re the perfect black heels with a twist. Block heels are some of my favorite styles and the wooden texture on these are a fun alternative to the typical black leather. These heels have an uncannily similar design to my old favorite Kate Spade Saturday shoes (shown here) so I’m excited to sport the familiar shape the next time I have somewhere nice to go! My mom has been wearing these J.Crew Zoe Suede D’Orsay Flats since she bought them in New York four years ago and I’ve been wanting a pair of my own ever since. I love how the cutout style and tan fabric elongate the legs. I’ll wear these whenever Waco’s weather stops going crazy as they’re great for both school and work! Every woman does have a right to shoes anyway, right?
