Lately I’ve been “thinking in outfits” as I shop, meaning I pick up a piece and style it in my head with my current accessories or coordinating items. When I saw this gorgeous embroidered top on LOFT’s website, I paired it with my new white converse and denim jeans. The day it arrived and I wore it with these skinny J.Crew pants, I thought the jeans looked a bit “done” with the rest of the girly outfit. To tone down the look a bit, I cuffed the hem of my denim, which looked even better than what I had in mind. Although my pink Kate Spade purse isn’t a neutral, I love how the feminine shade and laser-cut details compliment the rest of my outfit.
