It’s no secret that I love a good densely packed kabuki for liquid foundation blending and when I found an amazing dupe I knew I had to share it with you all. My Sephora Professional Mineral Powder brush is extremely well loved in my collection with its soft, thin bristles and compact size. The brush although labeled as a mineral foundation kabuki, works perfectly for liquids. Leaving the skin with a flawless finish, it became my brush of choice for the past year. The only downside to the brush is the price, weighing in at $24. Even though I probably won’t need to buy another one of the Sephora pro kabukis, I think it’s always good to have more than one foundation blender, hence my Real Techniques purchase. The Real Techniques Buffing Brush is raved about by my favorite Anna for its dreamy blending capabilities, leaving the user with perfect skin. The brush can be purchased on its own or in the Flawless Core Collection Kit for an affordable $18. The Buffing Brush is absolutely amazing. The synthetic duo fiber bristles are the softest I’ve ever felt and the application is always quick and even. It also applies powder and bronzer like a dream. Comparing the two brushes, I think that the Real Techniques is my favorite. With its lightweight body, velvety bristles and dreamy application, it’s hands down a winner in my book.
