Disappointing Products Revisited

I’ve spoken about my ‘least favorite products’ before on TIN and I usually toss them out after writing a post on them. After realizing that my initial thoughts on said products could eventually change, I’ve begun to keep them in my bathroom in a separate container for further review. Two beauty/skin products I’ve really been enjoying after disappointment are The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil and the Rimmel Glam’Eyes Trio Eyeshadow in Orion. The cleansing oil was too greasy and heavy for my skin when I first tried it out, which was really disappointing. I’d also never tried an oil before so I didn’t like the remnants of it left over on my eyelashes. After using it again for a couple of weeks, I’m really enjoying using it! The oil takes off every bit of makeup left on my skin and gets the gunk out of my pores. The Rimmel trio seemed to lack pigmentation and lasting power on my greasy eyelids. I really love the shades in the mini palette so I recently decided to try it out again. I’ve been applying the light mauve shade on my lids as a wash of color and then brushing the matte chocolate brown in the crease. The brown shade also matches my brows perfectly, so it’s definitely a multitasking palette for the brunettes out there! The lasting power is still ‘meh’, but I’m willing to lose a few hours of shadow for the gorgeous colors in the palette!
