Hello everyone! I’ve recently bought quite a bit of makeup products over the course of a few weeks, so I wanted to share the products and my thoughts on them! (All of it was purchased at Sephora)
Guerlain Meteorites Powder in Teint Rose 1 found here
I’ve been wanting this powder for around a year, and when I went to Washington DC I decided to splurge and buy it! I really like how the different colors mix together to give me a soft glow without the shimmer. It keeps my makeup looking fresh throughout the day, so that I don’t have to re-powder and have a “cakey face”. Even though this powder was really expensive, I will definitely repurchase it when I run out! The Meteorites cost $60.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir found here
I recently talked about this facial spray in my January Favorites post and I have already used it up! I absolutely love this Beauty Elixir! I use it after I cleanse my face as a toner before I moisturize. It’s very refreshing with the Grape Seed Oil extract. I love how it can be used as a toner, a refresher, or just as a makeup setting spray. I personally don’t use this to set my makeup because I prefer to use a powder such as the Guerlain Meteorites, but I do enjoy this product. I really love to use it to calm my skin down after I exercise. I used the 1 oz bottle in around 2 and a half months, so you can see how much I like this product! It costs around $18.
Rosebud Salve found here
This little miracle in a jar is probably the best lip balm I have ever used! It really helps to soften dry, cracked lips, elbows, and knees. I used the whole container of the balm while I was on my trip to Washington DC because of the blistering cold air. It’s really good to use before putting on a bold lipstick to make sure that you don’t have gross chapped lips. Rosebud Salve costs $6.
Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain in #9 found here
I’m a bit of a lip junkie, so I’m always on the hunt for a new lip product. Although this was also included in my January Favorites, I can’t stop talking about this Glossy Stain! It has quickly become my “go to Red”. I love how bold and dramatic it is, and I can’t help but feel confident and chic while wearing this. It lasts all day and does not smudge at all. Thank you Fleur from FleurDeForce for blogging about this wonderful product! It costs $32.
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Punjab found here
Although I love my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation to death, I’ve been on the hunt for a new foundation since I’m running low on Vitalumiere. When I saw YouTube beauty guru Tanya Burr include this NARS Sheer Glow foundation in her “Favorite Foundations” video, I knew I had to try it out. Tanya always uses this foundation to achieve glowing, flawless skin and that’s exactly what I want my skin to look like! The Sheer Glow isn’t sheer at all, I would call it Medium buildable coverage. Punjab matches my face perfectly and it truly looks like I’m not wearing any makeup at all. I love this foundation so much and I think it might become my new Holy Grail foundation! NARS Sheer Glow costs $45.
